The Phoenix Snow Park is a recreational and vacation complex, built in nature at 700 m above sea level. It has hotels, aparthotels, ski slopes and golf course, among many other facilities. Just two hours from Seoul, it is a perfect resort for mountain recreations and was designated a Tourist Site in 1999. It is open all year round, but becomes very crowded in winter, particularly during the ski season.
