On March 12, the General Assembly of the Spain-Korea Chamber of Commerce met to review the activities carried out in 2014 and to plan its 2015 activities.

The meeting, which took place at the headquarters of one of its new partners, OHL, was attended by its two honorary presidents: the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Mr. Park, Hee-kwon and the Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of OHL, Mr. Josep Piqu Camps. The President of the Chamber, Mr. Javier Cremades, pointed out that at the beginning of the third year of activities, the Chamber also began a phase of expansion and consolidation through the implementation of the same in several autonomous communities.

In 2014, trade between Korea and Spain grew by almost 90 percent in relation to the previous year, mainly due to the increase in Spanish exports to the Asian country. Despite this growth, the truth is that the margin to grow in both directions is very large. The Chamber will continue to make every effort to accelerate this growth for the benefit of both countries.
