This symposium will bring together more than twenty specialists in the field of Smart Cities in Asia and Europe to analyze the possibilities of international cooperation in urban planning and sustainability, as well as to share solutions to some of the common challenges posed by this reality today. day. For this we will have the participation of representatives of newly created companies, R & D centers, universities and public officials


The symposium is structured around plenary sessions and round tables. On Tuesday, November 21, in addition to the words of welcome, by representatives of UN-HABITAT, Maec, Casa Asia and the City of Madrid, the opening speech will deal with "Connecting smart cities in Asia and Europe". the plenary session on "Common challenges of Asian and European cities in the 21st century", and the round table on "Intelligent city ecosystems: Experiences to learn from cities in Asia and Europe"


On the second day, Wednesday, November 22, the round table will deal with "Smart Start-ups: Technological and innovation solutions" along with practical sessions in which various speakers will present the main financing instruments, cooperation programs and business opportunities in projects related to smart cities in Asia and Spain.
