IFEMA invites the world tourism industry to its annual meeting at the FERIA DE MADRID, on the occasion of the 37th edition of FITUR 2017, International Tourism Fair, which will take place from 18 to 22 January 2017.  
The event has started the first marketing process, to invite tourism companies, agencies and institutions from all over the world to participate. With this meeting, will start the international calendar of tourism fairs, thus serving FITUR thermometer of the situation through which it crosses one of the major engines of the economy.
 
 
This new edition starts with the best expectations, especially considering the positive balance recorded in the last call, held last January, in which a new record of participation in the FITUR trajectory was reached, with a total of 231,872 Visitors, including 124,659 participating professionals (2% more than in 2015), and 9,605 companies present, from 165 countries. Likewise, it emphasized once, the great number of professional and business meetings, with the consequent profitability of the Fair for the participants. All this, in addition, had repercussions in Madrid, generating an estimated economic impact in 210 million euros.
 
FITUR, one of the main events for the tourism industry worldwide and the leading trade fair for the Ibero-American area, is already working on the onfiguration of a top-level business space with the best tools to enable professionals from the world of Tourism to successfully face the challenges posed by the sector at the moment.
