Washington, Nov. 28 ( Yonhap) - Jim Yong Kim, president of the World Bank ( WB), visit Seoul early next year to attend the opening ceremony of the office of the World Bank Group in South Korea announced BM on Thursday ( local time) .

While in South Korea, scheduled for December 3-5 , the head of BM will discuss issues such as the South Korean role in the development of other countries and increasing investment in Africa by South Korean companies , according to the BM .

" South Korea is , in itself , a good model of success, and several African countries taken as examples to search their development," Kim said in a statement. " With the establishment of a new office of the World Bank Group in South Korea , South Korean experiences may contribute to overcoming poverty in the developing countries and their common prosperity ," he said .

During his visit to his homeland, the president of the BM also give a speech about cooperation between South Korea and Africa, will speak about the importance of learning foreign languages.

On December 4 , the second day of his visit , he will attend the opening ceremonies of the office of the World Bank Group and the secretariat of the Green Climate Fund ( GCF ), which will be held in Songdo , west of Seoul .

The WB said that Kim planned visit to South Korea will be the second since July last year and plans to hold a press conference on 3 December in Seoul and at Songdo, day 4
