SEOUL, Nov. 10 ( Yonhap ) - expert staff will be hired , as lawyers and public relations specialists to help transform the Kaesong industrial complex in international business center , said Sunday , the Steering Committee Kaesong Industrial District ( KIDMAC , according to its acronym in English) .

According to KIDMAC , in charge of running the resort , is running the recruitment process to select staff who is capable of handling various issues that may arise in the special economic zone and which are vital for the complex can attract foreign investors.

A committee source said it will hire a public relations specialist working from Kaesong and help the committee to promote the resort , as well as organizing events for investor relations . Also employ a lawyer to provide legal advice in the event that a South Korean worker accused of violating the laws or rules North Korea .

The operation of the Kaesong industrial complex was suspended on April 9 , when North Korea withdrew its 53,000 workers in the industrial park , angry at the annual military exercises between South Korea and the United States and the new resolution of the Security Council UN against its third nuclear test . Also banned the entry of personnel and materials in South Korea , which led to Seoul to withdraw its workers from the exhibition , after the North rejected the ultimatum to participate in the official negotiations on restarting stalled operations .

The complex was reopened on September 16 after Pyongyang agreed to not disrupt operations again in the industrial park for political or military reasons . Also agreed on the need to internationalize the complex for foreign companies to set up factories in the same .

To do this, both governments are working in order to attract foreign investment and avoid a new suspension of operations , reforming the rules regarding transit , communications , customs and protecting South Korean workers . In this sense, according to an agreement reached on August 28 , both parties are required to hold monthly talks on these matters , although North Korea avoided the talks in October.
