Copenhagen, Oct. 22 ( Yonhap) - South Korean Prime Minister Chung Hong -won and his Danish counterpart Helle Thorning -Schmidt , agreed on Tuesday to continue developing their strategic partnership involving a wide range of issues of common interest, said Chung 's office.

Chung is an eight-day trip to Denmark and Finland, which began Saturday. His visit to Denmark includes bilateral talks and participation in the Global Green Growth Forum 2013.

"( The officials ) discussed bilateral, regional and multilateral mutual interest and reaffirmed their commitment to the strategic partnership ," the joint press release marking Chung 's visit .

"The Prime Ministers agreed to promote cooperation and synergies across a wider range of topics and areas of common interest ... They agreed to expand cooperation in research, innovation,creativity and entrepreneurship," said ,

The two sides expressed their deep concern over nuclear programs and ballistic missile North Korea and emphasized that programs "are unacceptable" and urged Pyongyang to "respect , among other things , its international obligations ."

After bilateral talks, Chung attended the meeting of the Green Growth Alliance South Korea - Denmark, which was established in 2011 to achieve sustainable development, and presented green growth projects in Seoul, his office said.
