SUNCHEON, South Korea, Sept. 24 (Yonhap) -- The ongoing Suncheon Bay Garden exposition drew some 320,000 visitors from around the world during the five-day Chuseok holiday, the event's organizers said Tuesday, brightening the outlook for its target of 4 million visitors.

During the Korean harvest holiday from Sept. 18-22, a total of 320,657 came to visit the Suncheon Bay Garden Expo, held 415 kilometers south of Seoul, raising the total number of visitors since its opening to 3,267,398, said the organizers. On Friday alone, a record 103,342 people visited the expo. The previous one-day audience record of 96,822 was set on May 18.
