Boryeong, South Korea, July 26 - The organizing committee of the Boryeong Mud Festival held this Friday, a forum to seek ways to cooperate with the “Tomatina” festival in Spain.

The forum, organized by the Institute of Culture and Tourism of South Korea, is intended to promote exchanges between the festival of mud and other world famous festivals such as “La Tomatina” in Spain.

During the forum, in which participated Joaquin Mamano Palmer, mayor of Buñol, the village where takes place the “Tomatina”, were conducted presentations and discussions about the expansion of cooperation between the country's mud festival with other global festivals.

The festival organizing committee of the mud has been cooperating with his Spanish counterpart to the “Tomatina” since 2010, when the two began exchanging banners on their websites.
