Seul, Feb 25 (Yonhap)- The South Korean automobile manufacters are planning to introduce the next month new cars in the car show in Switzerland, in order to reinforce the presence in Europe.

Hyundai Motor Co which is the automobile industry leader in South Korea will be announced the new model of its sports utility vehicle (SUV) called Tucson ix35 at the Geneva Motor Show, which open on March 5 and will last until 17 March.

Hyunday also said he will present a seven-seat SUV, under the name of Project NC.

The Hyundai’s smaller subsidiary, Kia Motor Groups plans to release the Cee’d GT, with three and five doors, wich were overseen by President and Chief Designer Kia, Peter Schreyer.

Peter Schreyer, who joined Kia Motors in 2006, is currently responsible for the strategy of long-term design of Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors.

Hyundai plans to sell 415000 units this year in Europe, a decrease of 6.5 % compared to the previous year, while Kia plans to sell 335.000 units in Europe, an interannual increase of 1%.

Hyundai and Kia, which form the Hyundai Automotive Group, the world fifth largest automaker, made sales projections in the midst of the Europe Union recession. However, the two automobile manufacters try to maintain the combined market share of 6.1 % in Europe, a fee record set last year, according to Hyundai.

Ssangyong Motor, the South Korean unit of Indian SUVs, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd said he will introduce for the first time, the vehicle-1 prototype.

The prototype high-end SUV is based on the intelligent interface and its design is a key part of developing new Ssangyong cars, according to the company.

Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd., India, han announced recently plans to invest 80000 million won ( 73 million dollars) in Ssangyong Motor Co., to participate in an effort to develop new models, according Ssanyong.

Ssanyong Motor, the smallest automobile manufacter in South Korea, also said he will present at the Geneva Motor Show “Korando”, a diesel-powered vehicle.

The manufacter announced, earlier this month, the 11-seater vehicle in South Korea and said it plans to sell this year 10000 units in the nation and as many abroad.
